1938

Tri Delta Founder Sarah Ida Shaw Martin, Boston University, began the tradition of special pieces of jewelry being passed to Fraternity officers for the duration of their term. The earliest pieces were her personal belongings, but over the years items belonging to other early leaders were added to the collection. It became a tradition for the Fraternity's leaders to pass the pieces to their incoming counterparts at the end of their induction ceremony. For many years this ring was worn by the editor of The Trident. More recently, the ring has been worn by the Chief Executive Officer.

This gold ring features three diamonds in a Tiffany setting.
