Delta Century Fund Chairman Marcheta MacDonald Bowdle, Miami University, gives a slide presentation explaining the creation of the Delta Century Fund at the 1964 Convention and providing a history of its early years. She explains how a dispute with the Internal Revenue Service led to the creation of the Delta Century Fund Library Awards and explains the decision to donate the balance of the fund to the National Humanities Center.
