This Stars and Crescent badge belonged to Rosemary Gaboury Conroy, University of Alberta, and appears to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the University of Alberta.
This badge consists of three stars, crown set with pearls, within a gold crescent of three hundred degrees bearing three deltas in black enamel. Attached is a guard in the shape of a letter A set with 13 additional pearls and the number 40 at the base.
