One of a number of badges designed for members of Alpha Chapter at Boston University who were initiated between 1880 and 1906, this badge was created prior to standardization and features an unusual style.
This badge consists of three stars, crown set with one turquoise and two pearls, within a gold crescent of three hundred degrees bearing three deltas in black enamel. Five additional additional pearls and one additional turquoise are set within the crescent. Attached is a gold trident pin with an alpha in black enamel.
