R. Louise Fitch to Deltas Letter Reprint, April 29, 1918

R. Louise Fitch, Knox College, relates some of her experiences serving with the YWCA in France during World War I. She encourages collegiate members to finish their education, because there is a need for educated women with leadership skills in the YWCA and Red Cross. She also writes about a need for American music. This is a typed reprint of the original letter.

April 29th, 1918

Shortly after World War I was declared, R. Louise Fitch, Knox College, went to New York to work with the national officers of the YWCA. In April 1918, she traveled to France to study the effects of the war on the women there.
