R. Louise Fitch, Knox College, relates some of her experiences serving with the YWCA in France during World War I. She writes about visiting numerous hospitals, her encounter with some Tri Deltas working at one of them, and her apprehension about traveling through a foreign country. August 24th, 1918
Shortly after World War I was declared, R. Louise Fitch, Knox College, went to New York to work with the national officers of the YWCA. In April 1918, she traveled to France to study the effects of the war on the women there.
