This Stars and Crescent badge with an attached Circle Degree pin (now the Golden Circle pin) belonged to Founder Sarah Ida Shaw Martin, Boston University.
This badge consists of three stars, crown set with pearls, within a gold crescent of three hundred degrees bearing three deltas. Several small pearls outline the deltas, and six additional pearls decorate the ends of the crescent. The Circle Degree pin (now the Golden Circle pin) features a delta in white enamel supported by three deltas of gold inside a golden circle, which is surrounded by six spherical triangles in blue enamel.
