Delta Theta Chapter had a unique installation due to an edict by the college president requiring all installation activities be over by May 19, so as not to interfere with the college's Diamond Jubilee. Tri Delta's installing officers, who found out about the change at the last minute, initiated the local group's alumnae out of town and created the alumnae chapter, which completed the chapter's installation after the Diamond Jubilee was over.
