  • Alpha Theta Chapter was installed in the French rooms of the Hotel Schenley, followed that evening by a reception in the hotel ballroom with dancing until midnight. Over 500 guests attended the reception, including 15 fraternities and many members of the university faculty. The hotel building was later purchased by the university and is known today as the William Pitt Union.
