• Delta Nu Chapter had its roots in Delta Gamma, which was closed during a difficult time for the university. Many of the active and alumnae members renounced their membership and formed a local group which became a chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha. When that fraternity released its college chapters, the group petitioned Tri Delta for membership. The installation of Delta Nu was one of the impressive Ritual Services lasting the entire day and including 26 alumnae initiates.
