  • Fun Fact
  • Alpha Zeta Chapter began as a chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma, but then the fraternity released several of its chapters that were not located at teachers' colleges. The chapter combined in 1913 with the strong local group Delta Tau Beta, founded in 1890. The combined chapter petitioned Tri Delta for membership, and the chapter was installed in 1914 but closed in 1929 when faculty abolished Greek letter organizations at the college.
