Susan White Perry, Vanderbilt University, was initiated as a member of Delta Gamma Chapter. While at Vanderbilt, she became president of her chapter and later served as chapter adviser, alumnae chapter president, state reference chairman, district president, and extension committee member before joining the Executive Board of Tri Delta in 1958.

From 1958 to 1960, Perry served as associate director of extension, and from 1962 to 1964, she was collegiate vice president. In 1964, she began her two-year term as president of Tri Delta, the first president elected after Tri Delta reached its 75th anniversary. Her terms on the Executive Board coincided with a time of exponential growth for the Fraternity.

Following her term as president, Perry continued to work for Tri Delta as chair of the Fraternity Council and the Nominating Committee and district president. She also chaired a committee established at the 1970 Convention to evaluate the effectiveness of chapter programs and philanthropy projects. Perry passed away on March 8, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee.
