Margaret Paddock Haller, Cornell University, was born on September 26, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Cornell University in 1939, where she was initiated as a member of Alpha Beta Chapter.

Haller’s first position in Tri Delta came in 1948, with a two-year term as director of housing standards. From 1950 to 1952, Haller was director of collegiate bylaws, and from 1952 to 1956, she was director of convention. In 1958, Haller became president of Tri Delta, a position she held until 1962. Haller edited Tri Delta’s third history book, History of Delta Delta Delta, 1888-1988. In 1994, Tri Delta established the Haller Award in her honor to recognize outstanding chapter achievement.

Haller passed away on February 25, 2003.
