Angela Hackett Driver, University of California, Berkeley, was born on March 8, 1932 in Long Beach, California. In 1950, she enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where she was initiated as a member of Pi Chapter. In 1953, she married Glenn Driver, a midshipman. After graduating from college, she remained a lifelong member of the Overlake Alumnae Chapter, which created a biennial award in her honor to recognize an outstanding member of the chapter.

Driver served Tri Delta in many capacities throughout her life, including alumnae chapter president, collegiate district officer, trustee of the Tri Delta Foundation, associate director for Convention planning (1982-1984), and alumnae vice president (1984-1988).

In 1988, Driver became president of Tri Delta, a position she held until 1992. As president, she pushed for the continued growth of the organization and helped establish the Tri Delta Foundation. Driver also helped lead the Foundation’s first capital campaign, which funded the construction of Tri Delta’s Executive Office at Brookhollow Plaza Drive in Arlington, Texas. 

In addition to her work with Tri Delta, Driver served as a Girl Scout troop leader. Driver passed away on July 31, 2019.
